| Commercial Service of Bloomington, Inc.
has served the Bloomington Indiana area's heating and cooling needs since
1946.
Mike Sonneborn, company president since 1978, says "we are very proud
of the heritage here at Commercial Service, which installed some of the
first air conditioning systems in Bloomington in the 1950's." The company
employs 35 technical and support personnel.
"Currently, our predominant focus is on commercial and light industrial
installations, maintenance and service. Along with heating and air conditioning,
Commercial Service handles ventilation, sheet metal and dust collection
processes."
Commercial Service technicians are factory trained and certified. Twenty
hold EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Sonneborn says "increased
environmental awareness and new legislation are driving forces for change
in our industry. Beneficial results include lower operating costs and decreased
negative environmental impact from refrigerants. We work hard to stay on
the leading edge of this new technology."
Indoor air quality is a valid concern of both managers of business properties
and homeowners. A reliable maintenance program is the most cost effective
means of providing a desirable indoor environment.
Adam Sater, service manager, comments "we have developed a Customer
Assurance Program that guarantees a building owner that their equipment
is operating safely and efficiently, with no danger to its occupants due
to poor air quality."
Commercial Service of Bloomington, Inc. was recently awarded Trane Air
Conditioning's Distinguished Dealer Award, honoring their commitment to
customer satisfaction. This is the eighth time they have received this
prestigious award. Commercial Service of Bloomington Inc. is a certified
STAR Dealer.
Commercial Service vigorously supports many community organizations,
including the Monroe County Schools Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, the
Boys and Girls Club, Monroe County YMCA, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Girls,
Inc., Youth for Christ, Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, IU Varsity Club
and many others. Sonneborn says "we are blessed to be able to donate up
to complete heating systems for many Habitat projects. We are happy to
help their partner families get the needed hand up."
Commercial Service of Bloomington, Inc. moved to their new 13,000 square
